They snickered and guffawed
Some chortled and chuckled
One cracked up so bad
He broke his belt buckle
Many howled in the aisles
Others broadly grinned
And at that precise moment
I understood my sin
That seems a harsh way
To explain a foolish gaff
How I’ll carry on
Since I’ve forgotten…how to laugh
