She hath hands for holding, soft lips for kissing
Her so gentle heart long ago stole mine
Each moment apart ‘tis her I’m missing
The sound her dear voice like nectar from vine
When seas roll stormy… anchor I cling to
Her amour fine claret…coursing my veins
A rose so sweet…hath fragrance “I love you”
An island of peace in world filled with pain
What angel blessed me that I should have her?
‘T was heaven sent cloud dropped ballast that day
Each time she departs aroma of myrrh
I squeeze eyes tightly and silently pray
“Come home my darling…be with me again
Today, Tomorrow, Forever and then…”
