Pain and I had a long “talk” today
Pain said “suffer”… I did so obey
Pain knows no etiquette, has no manners
Pain “employs”…its daily planners
Pain “drops” in at any old time
Pain has become…a friend of mine
Whilst others tire of my anguished refrain
Pain has great “patience”…again and again
