Hath seen Black Swans glide on glassy water
The canny Raven eyes blinking in Sun
Wolves in moonlight search for mealtime fodder
The mole hears screech of owl, alas he’s done
Mighty Cobra strikes, death its calling card
Jaws of Crocodile, swallow child whole
The King of beasts makes life for Gazelle hard
Coal eye of Shark bares no aquatic soul
Cunning Fox eats eggs, Robin cobalt blue
Spider doth spin web, patient for the kill
I oft’ lie at night, thinking of young two
How shall I protect thee fore’er until
Hath seen Black Swans glide on glassy waters
‘T is Man I fear, I age…with two daughters
